In short: The 2027 Wanda Diamond League starts in Doha on 7 May 2027 and ends with a two-day final in Zurich on 25-26 August 2027, the series announced on 12 October 2026.

The Wanda Diamond League published its 2027 calendar on 12 October. The season opens in Doha on Friday 7 May and ends with the two-day final in Zurich on 25 and 26 August. The series covers 15 cities on four continents.

The meetings in order: Doha (7 May), Shanghai/Keqiao (15 May), Xiamen (22 May), Rome (27 May), Rabat (30 May), Oslo (3 June), Stockholm (6 June), Paris (25 June), Eugene (3 July), Monaco (9 July), Lausanne (13 July), London (17 July), Silesia (15 August), Brussels (20 August) and the final in Zurich (25-26 August).

Athletes in 32 disciplines collect points through the season, and the best qualify for the final, where the winners take the Diamond League title in their event. The organisers say the 2027 series will "provide a crucial test of form ahead of the World Athletics Championships in Beijing in September".

The 2026 series brought a Kenyan world record. Olympic 800m champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi ran 2:11.83 for 1000m at the Monaco meeting on 10 July, his first race over the distance, breaking Noah Ngeny's 2:11.96 from 1999, LetsRun reported.
